Week5-Math10

At the beginning of the week I was really struggling with conversions. I had seen this formula a few times before in Physics, but it had always confused me. Luckily my dad is really good at conversions so he helped me out a lot with it. I realized that what i was doing wrong was that i would multiply feet by feet if i was trying to get to inches, but you are supposed to divide feet by feet.

For example when trying to get from 3’11”, you need to convert the 3 feet into inches, and then add the remaining 11 inches. So, you do \frac{3ft}{1} * \frac{12in}{1ft}=36in + 11 in=47 inches
