- The general precipitation in the dry and mid temperature areas are increasing, while in high temperature areas it is gradually decreasing. Greenland’s temperature has increased 5.7% throughout the 55 years as shown in the latest data. The precipitation has increased 32% in the same time frame. In the lower temperature zones (snow, polar) the heat is increasing dramatically which causes more precipitation. In the tropical areas like the Philippines, the temperature stays the same but the precipitation is increasing.
- The conclusion we came to is that the low temperature zones will experience more rainfall due to the increasing temperature. However, the high temperature zones stay around the average temperature, but the rain is increasing.
