Explain how you figured out what equations to use. Did you have any challenges? Any aha moments? Did you get help? Did you use any strategies? How did this assignment help you understand more about transformations of functions.?

I used a lot of quadratic equations at first although later I found a use for all sorts of equations. Usually, if I wanted to be able to accurately graph an equation, quadratic or semi-circular would be easiest to do for curves although I did find linear equations to be really useful as well when doing straight lines. I usually decided what to use based on the shape of the line I wanted. I did make some minor mistakes so I had trouble shading before I found them. I did find it quite challenging to shade between all the letters on the hoodie and make them accurately although I think it turned out pretty well. There was one specific equation I just didn’t write properly, forgetting to properly put it in function notation so it took me a while to be able to shade with the line. It kept not working, then I found my mistake and I was mad at myself because it was so simple. I got help from Adrian and Natalie finding how to create different colors, it was so easy to do once they explained it. I mostly used the strategy of outlining a section, then shading when I was done with all the outlines. this helped me keep track of what I have done so far. Accomplishing one thing at a time was a very useful way to keep track of all the work.  This assignment helped me understand more how to visualize equations of graphs and how to accurately estimate where a line would be. This assignment also helped me gain a better understanding of what different types of functions can look like in equations and how to graph lines accurately.
