Royal member, Andy Cline, 16, found dead in an alleyway

NEW YORK-A Royal member identified as Andy Cline, 16 was fatally stabbed last night at 11:30 pm.
Cline was found in an rainy, deserted alley with a gash right below his ribcage. The knife did not cut any main arteries resulting in a slow and very painful death. He was also wearing a silky purple jacket with “THE ROYALS” printed on the back.
The victim’s girlfriend, Laura Willis states that Cline left a dance that they were attending to get cigarettes and that was the last time she saw him alive. “I realized after about 15 minutes that he was taking a long time so I went to go find him,” she said, sobbing, “The last thing that I was expecting was to find him dead! I then ran in the pouring rain, desperately trying to find someone who could help him.”
Angela Fo, another witness said “I found the poor boy on the ground, he was in pretty bad condition but I was scared; after all, he was a Royal.” She then admitted that she ran away with her boyfriend and Cline was still breathing when they discovered his body. “I didn’t want to be involved with any gang related activity,” she added.
Joe Hill, NYPD officer, arrived at the scene and Cline was immediately pronounced dead. “We are still in early stages of investigation.” Hill also added that this stabbing is gang related and that the public is at no risk.
Andy Cline’s funeral will take place at Trinity Church located in New York City. The date has yet to be announced.

This article is about gender equality and how boys, especially in third world countries, have access to more resources and overall have more benefits. This article states that woman empowerment can help woman find more opportunities whether it is an education or finding a stable job. I chose this article because it was the article that interested me the most. I like how they talked about what gender equality is and they also gave some facts and statistics about the differences between woman and men. I learned that if girls are more educated they are more likely to wait until they are older to marry someone and raise healthier children who will be likely to attends a school when they get older. The interesting thing is that in the 2nd paragraph, it says “Families may also rely on girls’ labor for household chores, carrying water, and childcare, leaving limited time for schooling.” In The Friday Everything Changes, it was the boys who always carried the water buckets and it was the girls who envied them. Overall I think that this article is very interesting and it had some very interesting statistics.
