How we can use Trig to measure objects?

 

Trig makes it a lot easier to measure triangles because you only need two pieces of information. When we aren’t tall enough to measure with something with a normal measuring stick we can use angles. Angles are easier to measure from the ground using a clinometer.

 

We had to find an angle and we used the length from our feet + mufaro’s eye height to the flag pole.

Then we put Tan 59  (The angle) over 5.2

So tan59 times 5.2 which = 8.7/>
