Engineering Game assignment – How to play Ludo Kig

Today, I am going to teach you how to play Ludo king.

Equipment

A Ludo board is is square with a pattern on it in the shape of a cross, each arm being divided into three adjacent columns of eight squares. The middle squares form the home column for each colour and cannot be landed upon by other colours. The middle of the cross forms a large square which is the ‘home’ area and which is divided into 4 home triangles, one of each colour. At each corner, separate to the main circuit are coloured circles (or squares) where the pieces are placed to begin.

Counters start their circuit one square in from the end of the arm and adjacent to the starting circle. Avoid modern boards which incorrectly place the first square at the end of the arm.

The starting square, the starting circle, the home triangle and all the home column squares are coloured to match the corresponding pieces.

Each player chooses one of the 4 colours (green, yellow, red or blue) and places the 4 pieces of that colour in the corresponding starting circle. A single die is thrown to determine movement.

Play

Players take turns in a clockwise order; highest throw of the die starts.

Each throw, the player decides which piece to move. A piece simply moves in a clockwise direction around the track given by the number thrown. If no piece can legally move according to the number thrown, play passes to the next player.

A throw of 6 gives another turn.

A player must throw a 6 to move a piece from the starting circle onto the first square on the track. The piece moves 6 squares around the circuit beginning with the appropriately coloured start square (and the player then has another turn).

If a piece lands on a piece of a different colour, the piece jumped upon is returned to its starting circle.

If a piece lands upon a piece of the same colour, this forms a block. This block cannot be passed or landed on by any opposing piece.

Winning

When a piece has circumnavigated the board, it proceeds up the home column. A piece can only be moved onto the home triangle by an exact throw.

The first person to move all 4 pieces into the home triangle wins.

The Covid-19 Could Put an End to Handshakes

Image

Shaking hands is standard in almost all areas of human endeavor in western culture, including business, sports, politics, and religion. We shake hands to say hello, goodbye and congratulations, to demonstrate respect, loyalty, trust, co-operation, and to signal our confidence and character to strangers, acquaintances, friends and even foes. We are a social species that require touch and connection to maintain physical and emotional health. i believe It’s impossible to believe people won’t touch each other any longer. The handshake has been around so long, it’s hard to imagine it disappearing. Some will no longer do it, but for many it’s instinctual.

They might become a stronger demonstration of trust. We may be more selective about who we shake hands with or the occasion on which we shake hands.

Koala koala, burning bright, In the forests of the night

What godness hand or eye, could frame your fearful symmetry

Fiery dawn across the Australia Hillville

Black smoking halo for each species cry

Millions of animals are burned

Too many people stand still will die together

Each rain forest we kill

Think what we’re doing look at the green

Burned out and cut down

The blackest you have ever seen

Reactions important it’s time to act now

our future is with us rain forest is how

What stories, videos, content (either print or visual) on the internet inspires you, scares you, makes you think, makes you angry, makes you want to read/watch more? Share some examples.

There are some scary pop up videos in YouTube that should not posted in because  that video can be harmful for people Imagine this, you’re sitting at the kitchen table and you have a spare minute. You innocently open up your computer and check your email. With a quick skim through, you’re happy to see a good friend has forwarded you something with the subject line  you have to watch this!
Your brain starts spinning as to what could be so important, and the excitement builds not knowing what this email could possibly hold inside. Without thinking, you immediately open the email and watch the video.
The video starts playing. You’re instructed to turn up the sound on your speakers, get close to the screen and watch closely as you’re pre-warned that what is about to happen just can’t be missed, and of course you’ve been recommended by your friend so it must be good.
You’re watching a shadowed room. You can see a bed on the right with random clothes just thrown about, some even hanging off the side, what seems to be a doorway on the left and a small white rocking chair positioned in the middle of the room at an angle.
All is still and quiet with a faint noise in the back that you just can’t make out… there is a green tint to the room and it seems very peaceful. You continue to watch, but can’t make out what was so important to watch? You’re about to click away when you suddenly notice the chair starting to rock, you see a swift white flash and AARRGGHH!

What do you know about the world? What aspect of the world/society/community do you want to know or learn more about?

In the world there are 195 countries around the world and all of them have different types cultures and different types of people so we should know about culture, customs, traditions, and values of a society or community to understanding culture and diversity in building communities we should know about what is culture? Why is culture so important? Why is understanding culture important if we are community builders? What kind of cultural community can you envision for yourself?

Do you believe that you should have a say in how society works?

In my opinion, I sometimes care about what my family and relatives think about me due to the age difference and the difference between our experience, so I have to act according to what pleases them, simply out of respect and the dynamics of our relationship. In my culture and community, elders always taught us as children to think about what others would think about you. I think it’s a cultural thing. But this is so deeply instilled in children that they grow up believing it and live their lives accordingly. Also, it turns into a cycle – from one generation to the next. I deeply believe that people who are always focused on what people say about them can have their personality and characters built on that and that’s not always a good thing. It can make you become a people pleasure. Sometimes, people refrain from mentioning their true opinions on things because of society. It stops their real personalities to show. However when speaking about society as a whole, I really don’t care about what people say. I mean, I don’t let it affect me in the long run, and I definitely don’t act according to what someone would perceive me as. I live life by knowing that someone will always have something to say no matter what I do and you can’t please everyone.

Do you believe that people in a democracy should have some knowledge of current events?

I think no, because in a constitutional democracy the authority of the majority is limited by legal and institutional means so that the rights of individuals and minorities are respected. This is the form of democracy practiced in Germany, Israel, Japan, the United States, and other countries. but as we see Trump When the public hears news of a travel ban proposed by Donald Trump being struck down in whole or in part by the courts, it should recognize the interaction between the executive and judicial branches of government and remember that freedom of religion is protected by the first Amendment. When the public reads about Trump’s campaign promise to build a wall, it should be aware that he cannot act unilaterally to make it a reality, but rather that he’ll need the legislative branch to provide funding it doesn’t make sense.

If you could interview any one person in the world, who would it be and why?

If I get chance to take an interview of someone I would take an interview of Bill Gate because he inspires not even me he inspired many people. he is my hero and his intelligence which led to huge technological advancements in computer software and i decided to become a computer software too.

Are black holes ‘doorway’ to the other parts of the universe?

Are black holes “doorway” to the other parts of the universe?

what is black hole? and what’s inside of the black hole?

Question 1: What is a black hole?

(Astronomy) A region of space having a gravitational field so intense that no matter or radiation can escape.

(Informal) a place where things or people disappear without a trace in space.

There is 2 types of black holes

  1. Steller (medium sized and most common) with a mass 20 times greater than the sun and can fit inside a ball with the diameter of 10 miles
  2. Supermassive black hole There is only one supermassive black hole and it is at the centre of our galaxy. these black holes don’t move at all. this black hole could fit 4,00,000 suns in it. (Source 1)

Question 2. what’s inside of the black hole?

you will be stuck for ever in the black hole. No one actually knows if there is an end to  black hole. When sucked into a black hole you would start to become a spaghetti noodle. When getting sucked in you would see absolute black and no light. When you fall in a black hole others would see time stop and see you stuck while you still feel time going by. most believe you exit the universe. (Source 2)

These two pictures are showing that how the  black hole look like and how big is it and so many stars are the across of that there is nothing to be going close to that. I mean if we send satellite inside and he black hole we gonna lose signals of that.

Question 3. Are black holes “doorway” to the other parts of the universe?

No, people may believe that things like wormholes exist. but those people probably think the earth is flat. scientists say that the amount of energy needed to make a wormhole would be impossible and you can only think of that on paper or TV. not real life.

(Source 3)

In this video it shows that nobody knows goes to inside of black hole. The scientists people only experienced the signal and satellite and they lose it after in the black hole.
