Fahrenheit 451 Reflection

Our group’s pages were 38 to 43.

I was responsible for finding connections from Bradbury’s novel “Fahrenheit 451” to our real world. I read some articles about estimations of the number of people who uses different online services like Netflix or watch a specific movie or series like Avengers and the amount of time they spend doing them.

For me, it was a little sad to read such an article. I have a cool and fun relationship with my dad. However, now that I am away from him, and it bothers me. Most of my characteristics are like my father. I love cars and computer, and I want to become an engineer, same as my father, but he is an engineer. When I was reading this article, I wasn’t thinking about what the writer was saying; in fact, I was thinking about all of my fantastic memories with my father and every cool thing that we have done together. Today the man that I want to be, portrays my childhood with my daddy! šŸ™‚

I’ve always been interested in astronomy and astrophysics since I was a little kid. NASA had started the Opportunity mission the same year as I was born. So, Opportunity was kind of like my robot, and when I heard about its silence, I, I was in deep melancholy!Ā ā€œIt was an incredibly somber moment,ā€ said Tanya Harrison. The article had quite a good tone in expressing great achievementsĀ of Opportunity:Ā ā€œRovers and their observations resonate with people,ā€ said Raymond E. Arvidson. Opportunity thought me to be strong. It doesn’t matter that even your creator thinks you won’t live long, they do not determineĀ it. You should be strong, and if a storm hit you down, use the next one to stand up again.
