What I learned
This week for lesson 4.4, I have learnt how to factor the difference of squares!
Difference of Squares
To know if a expression is a difference of squares you have to check two things:
1. If it is a subtraction (Difference)
2. If all the numbers and variable are perfect squares
Difference of squares is always a binomial answer, and the factors (the two binomials being multiplied) are conjugates of each other. Which means that it will have zero pairs which makes the middle term disappear. The constants of the two binomials being multiplied are opposites (negative & positive = zero pair), so the constant of the answer is always negative.
*ALWAYS CHECK IF THE TERMS HAVE SOMETHING IN COMMON*

And that is what I have learnt this week!!!
