The character Simon, In the novel Lord of the Flies, appears to have had a tan skin tone, and black hair before being isolated on the island. Once observing that the boys had been on the island for an extended period, it was noticed that simons skin burned and his coarse hair became tangled and draped long over his forehead. Simons’ eyes are described as being bright and most likely blue, he has a thin physique and is referred to as being small. Simons’ face became thinner as time had passed, his jawline and chin became more visible. He wore ratted up shorts that were hardly intact anymore, without any shoes on. His lips had become parched from severe dehydration, as he has chapped lips. Simon still remains to have confidence in the way he stands and presents himself having his chin tilted slightly up all the time.
