as you can see today in class we used cereal to represent the chemical bases on a DNA sequance, all the different colours represent a different base : green= guanine , pink= cytosine , orange= adenine and purple= thymine.
the 3 cereal pieces in a group create a codon, they make amino acids. the entire message represents the dna to make proeins for our body. reading the colour dna codon can determine my last name.proteins are built in the cytoplasm, DNA is in a nucleaus and cant leave or separate from it. the message dna sends is to get the right protein by using 4 bases to code all the informAtion. Than the RNA leaves the nucleus to read proteins.
