Salad Rolls !

  1. Did you enjoy this lab? Why or why not? yes because I have never had or heard of a salad roll before in my life ! I very much enjoyed making this lab using a different type of roll and making the different type of sauce was very good!
  2. What reasonable (i.e. no candy!) thing would you do to alter this recipe to keep it healthy or make it healthier?I think i would add some chopped tomatoes to this recipe to bring out more flavour in the roll. What would this add to the recipe (i.e. vitamins, minerals, fats)?vitamin C, biotin, molybdenum and vitamin K ,copper, potassium, manganese, dietary fiber, vitamin A (in the form of beta-carotene), vitamin B6, folate, niacin, vitamin E and phosphorus.
  3. Often, rolls like these are served deep fried. Most people understand that deep frying food is not healthy for us. What exactly does deep frying do to our food? Why does it become unhealthy? What, if any, nutrients are added that are not great for us? 
    fried foods using unhealthy artificial oils that contain trans fats, fried foods are unhealthy because they tend to be very high in fat and calories. But, deep frying also robs food of nutrients.
