After learning about the trickster in various pieces of Indigenous literature, I was able to form an understanding of the character’s role in relation to Indigenous culture, beliefs and values. In my concept map, I reflected on how different portrayals of tricksters are different and interconnected simultaneously. Learning about trickster, has consequently expanded my knowledge of reoccurring course themes and Indigenous ways of knowing and being.
