My group did the pages 32 to 38 for the novel, and I was the Literary Luminary. I chose this role specifically because it was the one that interested me the most. I enjoy taking different sections of the novel and kind of pulling them apart to access a deeper meaning. The imagery and the figurative language used in Fahrenheit 451 is also complex and well-thought out which made it more interesting to complete this task. I organized my slides so that there were more basic notes on the presentation and then what I was actually going to say on a different document. I chose specific allusions and imagery that I wanted to describe in depth and I chose multiple similes and personnifications that I just wanted to touch briefly upon. I also had to communicate with Lauren and explain my ideas because she was responsable for finding photos that described my slides. I also shared the discussion role, and I came up with one of the questions.
