Presto Narrative Poem
Rumble goes my tummy I haven’t eaten in days
My master has me working as if I were a slave
In walks my master eating a snack
But instead of feeing me he immediately gets out his magic hat
He pulls me out of my cage I must be getting my dinner
But oh no the show is about to start, I can feel myself getting thinner
Well this is absurd
He has provoked me and be assured
I will get the last word
He reaches into his hat to grab me, but I combat
Snap goes his finger I have surprised him with a mousetrap
Our shenanigans continue the crowd is amused
I will not take any more of this I am tired of being used
I tie him up and send him flying
But oh no what if he ends up dying
I save him and he lands in perfect orientation
The crowd claps and we get a standing ovation
My master is now pleased and I get my dinner
If we work together I have no doubt that the show will be a winner
