Week 15 Math 10

What I learned this week is how to eliminate by adding the equations, first you are given 2 equations to start with like x + 2y = 3 and -x + 3y = 2, to find x you have to multiply a number to cancel out the y value, so for this case you times the first equation by 3 and the second by -2, now both y values are +6 and -6, that becomes 0, after you add the 2 x values together and becomes 5, now you divide both sides by 5 and equals 1, to find y the x in this equation is already have a 0 value, now you do you take the y value that u multiplied already and divide both sides by 5, so now y value is 1, the coordinates is (1,1)

Week 14 Math 10

Find the coordinates from the equations, so at first you are given 2 equations like y=-2x+1 and y=x-5, you already have the slope and point given so all you need to graph the 2 equations that was given to find the points that cross, so for this equation the point that cross is (2,-3)

Week 13 Math 10

This week I learned how to find a equation in general form, general form is when the equation is equal to 0, first you put the numbers given in a t chart, then you find the slope, after you find the slope you put it in a general form after you multiply the x with the number in the bracket and then you add the same amount to cancel out the number that equals to.

Week 12 Math 10

This week in week 12 in math 20 I learned about parallel slopes and perpendicular slopes, parallel slopes is that two lines are parallel if their slopes are equal and they have different y-intercepts, and perpendicular slope are negative reciprocals of each other.

Week 11 Math 10

This week i learned about function notations, in the equation it tells you to do the equation while given the x value already, so in the equation f(x) = 2x+7 and f(x) = 12, the 12 represents x, so in the equation you would do 12 x 2 = 24 then you + 7 so the answer will be 31

Week 10 Math 10

I learned this week the difference between a relation and function graph. A function graph has unique points and spaced out from each other. A relation is a graph that’s not unique, and the points on the graph are above one another.

Week 9 Math 10

In week 9 I learned something new and fun to do, I learned about Domaine, Range, and how to out them in order. Also I learned on the graft that if the dot is filled in it means equal to, and if it’s not filled in it mean greater or less than

Week 8 Math 10

In week 8 I learned about graphing, we didn’t really learn about graphing yet though but all I know about graphing that there is positive and negative numbers, and a y and x axel

Week 7 Math 10

Week 7 I learned how to factorize polynomials, it’s pretty easy, just takes a lot of thinking. First you look at the numbers and check, I this photo all numbers are divisible by 3 and x so I put them out side the bracket, then I do the prime factorization of 15 and 12 which is 3,5 and 3,4 so I put that in the brackets with x^2
