Fire:

-Do not put water on grease fire

-Turn the heat off and do not move the pot or grease may splash (grease)

-Cover pot with lid to extinguish fire (grease)

-pour on baking soda to extinguish fire (grease)

-Cal 911 if fire gets out of control

Burns/scalds:

-put the burnt area under cool running water for at least 20 minutes

-use a hydrogel for first aid if water is not available

-remove any jewellery near the burn

-Treat the pain from a burn with ibuprofen

-use eye wash station or sink if a chemical is in the eye

-do not ingest unknown chemicals

-do not inhale unknown chemicals

-do not smell taste unknown chemicals

-clean up anything that may cause people to slip on the floor

-wear shoes

-be aware of your surroundings

-uncooked meat and fish

-improperly canned food

how to prevent food poisoning:

-Wash your hands, utensils and food surfaces often

-Keep raw foods separate from ready-to-eat foods

-Defrost food safely

-Throw it out when in doubt

-Take out garbage when it is full

-put waste in the proper bins

-wash hands after touching the garbage
