Science lab assignment
In this lab, I learned that liquids can do different things to starch. If the mixture is blue and the substance you put in is white it can either do nothing or make it completely white depending on how much Vitamin C it has. Or a white substance can make a blue mixture completely white because of how strong the vitamins are.
We first put the iodine in the beakers and then put each substance in a different beaker and got a different reaction from each substance. The first two made it white or a red-ish white, then the next two made it stay blue, then the last two made it completely white. There was also a change in smell in all of them.
We did this lab because we were testing to see that Vitamin C would affect the color of iodine and the smell of it.
