Socials changes and continuity

For continuity I chose very materialistic and spent money on clothes, accessories and fine furnishing because that is still continued till today and people spend their spare money on items like those listed

For changes the invention of steam locomotive made land travel accessible to all social class because it didn’t use to be that way when people were poor and never accessed things like vehicles

Governing Quebec

As a British official, I realize there are many alternatives to governing Quebec. I have chosen the policy of status-quo to ensure the colony is properly run because the French people can keep what they have of doing things, their laws, language and religion because they have their own way of doing things. It would benefit them as they see the British people as somewhat peaceful and gaining trust so they can be allies, unless they betray the British people because they did win the war. As I have outlined above, I believe the best policy for governing Quebec is status-quo. This will ensure that the colony will remain under British.
