This week in math we learned about how to find the vertex of a quadratic equation that is in factored form. Firstly, you need to find the x-intercepts of the equation. Once that has been found you need to find the average of them by adding the two numbers then dividing by two. Afterwards, you must plug that number in as x in the equation, this is required to find y. then x and y will be the coordinates for your vertex.
