In class we modeled each phase of Mitosis.
Interphase:
Cell (and nucleus) in most of its life before Mitosis
DNA is copied
Prophase:
Nuclear membrane will start to disappear. Spindle fibers start to form.
Metaphase:
Chromosomes line in center of cell. Spindle Fibers attach to Chromosomes.
Anaphase:
Chromosomes are pulled apart by Spindle Fibers into opposite sides of the cell.
Telophase:
Nuclear membrane forms around daughter nuclei. Cytokinesis begins
Cytokinesis takes place and the cells split
