Wonder Project

Is there potential for life on pluto? There may be a potential for life on pluto, as some scientists at NASA believe that there is most likely a ice water under the crust of the planet.  the heat is believed to happen due to some volcanic activity or radioactive decay causing energy to be released. The reason scientists believe that there is water is because there are surface fractures and some mountains on the planet, as shown by the New Horizons probe.  The water is believed to be 100 to 180 KM thick.  However there is no possibility of life on the surface of the planet because of the extreme cold temperature and the thin atmosphere. But when the sun becomes a red-giant and the habitable zone expands out there may be potential for life on the surface.

Culture in canada

How do people maintain their culture post immigration, and in what ways might they be discouraged from doing so?

People can maintain culture in canada because there are multiple religions and cultures already here, aswell as it a right to practice any religion or belief in canada.

They may be discouraged because of some news attaching a certain group of people.

it shows people being encouraged and discouraged from maintaining their cultural heritage because they give opportunity and freedom to maintain but at the same time they may attack a certain group through the news etc.

I think canada is a multi cultural country because we are encouraging multicultural by providing different things and giving opportunity to maintain the cultures.

i choose this resource because it shows that canadians don’t like war and would rather have peace in the world. i think it accurately represents canadians because it shows that we are willing to stand for what we believe is right but in a peaceful manner. If this photo was shown over a hundred years ago they likely would have acted differently. Considering that we were involved in wars at the time it would have been neglected.

i chose this resource because it shows the canadian kindness. i think it accurately represents canadians because it describes our culture and how kind we are, we always say sorry and be polite.  if this article was posted over 40 years ago they probably would have reacted the same.
