This week of 3D arts, we worked on using clay and working on our clay maquettes. I am not using clay with my mask, but it was a time to explore the uses of clay and how to make characteristics on a face.
As for my goal for last week, I did accomplish making my plaster. I took the plaster sheets home for me to do there. Then I spent a little time plastering my face. It turned out as I expected, and I am happy with the result. I had to add a few extra bandages to reassure that the structure would stay together.
The goal for this week is to lightly sand down the mask and paint. If I could get all the materials I need for the mask, that would be perfect to set me up for the week after. Preparing myself this week would be a big help as I could start constructing the design part of the mask.
