I see both writers and artists as being equally as important in this day and age compared to scientists and engineers, for the reason as they work for hand in hand and which are dependent on each other to press forward and allow us to create modern the technology that we use on a daily. The works of writing have been aged, but with that time ideas have been able to be preserved and saved much like the blueprints for a particular piece of technology. Literature gives us an idea of what needs to change for the future acting as a log of what needs modifications and is then altered to fit the needs of us today by the works of modern scientists as well as engineers. When working on developing medicine scientists record every change to recall back to that information making writing a significant step in progress to the eventual cure of a sickness or disease. Artists also pave the path for creating blueprints for the design of bridges, buildings, and complex structures that are eventually modified and constructed for the use of our modern era. Without the works of writers and artists modern scientists and engineers would not have the foundation of what they do, and without scientists and engineers than those writings and designs could not be used to its fullest ability.
