How do the laws of physics as we know them change as we travel throughout space?

The universe is guided by the laws of physics that we as humans have recently discovered. There are many laws, but main laws that we see the most are the laws of motion, mass, and relativity. Without these laws, life would not be able to exist. Without mass, nothing would have a weight value, without motion nothing would be able to exist because all particles move at a rate which defines if they are a solid liquid or gas. There are many other laws that we follow but they all branch off of what we know to be the main laws

.

In space we know that there are fundamental laws like gravity and velocity, but what if there are laws that we don’t completely know about. What if there are laws of physics complexly different from what we know where there is a reversed gravity pulling you away from a massive object?

Newton’s laws of motion

  • Motion- Everything that moves will continue to move unless a force is applied to stop its motion
  • Inertia- If something of mass has motion applied to it depending on the mass of the object it will affect the change of speed and direction due to momentum.
  • Opposing action- For every action there is an opposite to reaction to counter affect the already moving object.

One thing that we know as the black hole defies every law of physics that we know. The only rule that applies to a black hole is the law of gravity which lets us know that there are an event horizon and a strong gravitational pull.  A black hole in nature in an infinite curvature of space-time and compresses matter to an infinitesimal density. The event horizon is part of the black hole that nothing can escape, not even light, it has the ability to break down the molecular level of any sub-atomic particle. The light can be compressed to create what we do not know to be inside.

RAC- Volunteering My Time

For my Rac, I chose to address someone by their name when I started talking to them. For example, when I woke up in the morning I said hey Jamie. The look on Jamie’s face showed that they seemed happy that someone used their name up front directly at them. It showed me that people take comfort in hearing their own name and it really makes the person feel happy. I felt way more confident in my communication skills and it made me feel like I was being very polite. When I started saying it more my cousin said that they noticed that they felt happier when I used their name they said they felt important and they started using it more as they wanted to try it out as well. Using peoples names before you introduce yourself could be very useful even when you are not trying to start a conversation. If you use someone’s name at a job interview or at a professional occasion it could show that you are a very mature person and want to set a good impression.

I really enjoyed this RAC and I think that I will start using it way more often throughout my day to day life.

Maintaining Culture In Canada

When people immigrate from different countries from around the world, they are making sacrifices. They are losing there families there home and sometimes there memories. One way that people make sure that there religions and cultures stay strong is they keep records of there past such as photos or videos. I know that in aboriginal cultures, the elders will pass on there religions with story telling and songs.

Some aboriginal people might be discouraged to come over to a different country becalms of how they were treated in the past by Canada. Aboriginal people were forced into a new belief system that was considered “White”

Where as some people who come over to Canada could benefit from moving to Canada. Since North American countries have such powerful media influences that could mean that people who were willing to try and expand there culture they could do so by our large media population.

Identifying Canada and being canadian

Here are a few things that i think makes Canada Canadian,

The Komagata Maru

For me the Komagata Maru had a huge influence over Canada and my life because my great grandfather came over from India to establish ties and create a new life for people coming from India. When the Komagata Maru arrived on Canadian water space they were forbidden to land onto Canadian ground because Canada didn’t want any emigrants.

Terry Fox

Terry fox had a huge influence over Canada because he grew up right in Port Coquitlam close to home. He was diagnosed with cancer when he was very young. His coaches always told him that he wasn’t good enough to succeed at any sport. So terry started to practice running. He found out that the cancer had moved to his legs and that he would need to amputate his leg. After he had his leg amputated he started making donations because he saw all the kids that were suffering from cancer so he decided to run across Canada to raise money for cancer.

End of the year reflection

I learned how to create an essay and correct its mistakes and structure. I learned how to make cooked notes out of my raw notes to make a good solid awnser that supported my inquiry question. My third thing that I learned was how to calculate poetry writtig and find hyperbole, irony, metaphor and more.

My best memorie of English is when we went around doing the talking circle where we got to learn more about my classmates. Continue reading End of the year reflection
