My group and I figured out this task by using mathematical strategies. The first puzzle we solved was the bright pink one displayed in the photo above. For the first puzzle we wrote out every decimal to the sixth place and this helped us visually see which numbers are the least and the greatest. We then sorted the negative decimals first and then followed with the positive decimals. The second puzzle we solved was the vibrant green one displayed in the photo above. For the second puzzle we found the answer by switching each mixed number and decimal to an either negative or positive fraction. Then we found a common denominator between all the fraction and sorted them on a number line. Finally we placed them from least to greatest. All of these strategies helped our group be more organized, think more clearly and use techniques on our math problems.
