Linear Relations
if you have a pattern of 2,4,6,8 and you want to find the equation so you can graph it. first you find out how much the pattern is going up by. For example my pattern goes up by 2 then you are going to put 2 times x. x is representing the term number. Then you test your equation and see how much more you need to subtract or add to get the correct answer so 2 times term is equal to 2 so you don’t have to add or subtract in this case. so my final equation is 2x.
