Week 7 math blog post
This week I learned how to find a side length of a right angle triangle if all I knew was a angle and one other side length. In this equation I knew an angle and the opposite side length so I used SOH CAH TOA to figure out that this triangle was a tan question. You want the X in this question to be the numerator in order to do this you recipicate but what you do to one side you must to to the other so once you have recipicated both you are left with 1/tan 8 = x/5 then you divide 5 by tan 8 the answer to that is 35.6 which is the answer to x.
