  1. Remember that history is how we interpret the past, it’s our explanation of it. Also keep in mind that it changes as we find more evidence and can always be re-explained.

    Sounds like you retained a lot from the lessons. I’m glad to hear you can summarize all the events. I find it interesting when I see how different the thinking was in the past and it’s a challenge to try to get into the minds of people in the past, it’s not easy. But once you can imagine, then you start to build an appreciation of what we have. History should also show you that no movement is really ever complete, it’s ongoing. With women’s history, there was a lot of work done in the 20th century to build greater equality for women, but we have to realize that the work isn’t necessarily done.
