so we had to to create a power point for a group project on one of the genocides we learned about in the genocide unit we did there was the holocaust, Ukraine, and the Nanking genocide etc. My group had to do the Nanking genocide that took play in Nanking China and we created a power point on it. we talked about what they had to go threw and say what japan had done to them. what japan did was kill tons of people there and they would burn down their houses and their stores or what every they found they killed or burned down. we also added a video saying what had happen and what would happen to the people that lived their and we had a video that had a survivor telling their stories of their experience. and then we presented it to the teacher we only presented in front of the teacher cause it would keep us less scared because tons of people have stage fright or like presenting in front of a full class so it made it easier to present.

the challenge was that we had to talk with a partner and just have like a little talk or like a little interview so we answered a bunch of the questions that were on there it was like showing what we like to do what we have in common. the things we said were like things that we really like and what kind of person we are and things we are like more passion about what we care about the most and what we would want the most. the things that we had in common were that we are in the same class we both go to riverside and that we are both in grade 11. so I talked about everything that I liked and things that people say the problems that I have like how I really like sports and and some people will say that I like sports a little too much like ill look up sports stuff all the time probably like every 30 minutes ill look up something that involves the 4 major sports we have in north America and that is the one thing that we didn’t have in common. I think this challenge was good because you can like really get to know someone well cause they say what they like and what they are into. I think it is harder for people to interact with others right now because of the covid-19 pandemic were in right now because it does seem like some people are like afraid to talk to others cause they don’t wanna spread the virus but with the challenge like this it gets people talking to others and it makes people not afraid to talk to others. I think that this challenge was easy cause we used this sheet that had a bunch of questions that we had to answer like what is something that we are afraid of or whatever and so I answered all the questions then we had to take a picture of something and we decided that we should take a picture of are foot. some “believes it is only great power that can hold evil in check, but that is not what I have found. I found it is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay I think quote is saying that everyone has great power and that everyone can do what they want to do and that everyone that you know and love will have your back and support you all the way threw and if you need it they will help you with whatever you may need or support for.

Canada can very much qualify for the 2022 world cup in Qatar by finishing in the top 3 of group they are currently in right now. They are in a little playoff called the Concacaf with teams like Mexico USA costa Rica, Panama, Jamaica, El Salvador, and Honduras. Canada is currently number 1 in the standings right now with the win over Costa Rica and Mexico earlier in November with a 1-0 win over costa Rica and a 2-1 win over Mexico. Canada will be hosting the next game against USA in Hamilton Ontario at Tim Horton’s field on January 30th, 2022, and against Honduras on January 27th, 2022. If Canada wins these next 2 games, they could really qualify for the World cup in the fall of 2022. Canada last game will be in March of 2022 March 30th against Panama, which that game will probably mean if Canada wins it will probably mean that Canada will have qualified for the 2022 World cup in Qatar. This will be the first time in 35 years that Canada has qualified for the FIFA world cup. The last time Canada qualified for the world cup was 1986, the last game was played in St. johns newfoundland. In the 1986 world cup Canada played 4 games and lost all of them including Canada did not score a goal in the world cup the world cup was in Mexico the first game was against France Canada did play well, but they just didn’t put enough effort to win the game or score a goal. So, Canada right now is at number 1 of the World cup qualifying with Mexico at number 2 and USA number 3 also USA does currently have a loss from Panama. It was a 1-0 loss from Panama back in October with some of the good players not showing up for USA. It could affect them if they don’t show up for their next game against touch competition from the likes of Canada on January 30th. If Canada goes to the 2022 FIFA World cup in the fall of 2022, this would be the biggest thing or Canada sports since the Canadians men’s hockey team winning gold in the 2014 Winter Olympics against USA in Sochi, Russia. This is the first time the Canada men’s soccer team have been very good for the first time in years because Canada isn’t really a soccer country, so if Canada makes it their will be a lot of people watching them in the FIFA World cup all around Canada. The star that is impressing everybody around the world is star Alphonso Davies he’s 20 years old.

Source 1 Our planetary system is the only one officially called “solar system,” but astronomers have discovered more than 3,200 other stars with planets orbiting them in our galaxy.

Our Sun is just one of about 200 billion stars in our galaxy. That gives scientists plenty of places to hunt for exoplanets or planets outside our solar system. But our capabilities have only recently progressed to the point where astronomers can actually find such planets. so what I think is that there are a ton of solar systems all over space not just are there could be millions not just 3,200

Source 2 why is it hard to find planets outside are solar system.

Our Sun is just one of about 200 billion stars in our galaxy. That gives scientists plenty of places to hunt for exoplanets, or planets outside our solar system. But our capabilities have only recently progressed to the point where astronomers can actually find such planets.

Spotting an exoplanet around a faraway star is like spotting a firefly next to a lighthouse. The light from the lighthouse is so bright that you would have a hard time spotting the flicker of a firefly. In the same way, all stars are bigger and staggeringly bright compared to the planets orbiting them.

 Smaller Earth-like planets are much harder to find because they create only small wobbles that are hard to detect. Why is life possible on Earth and not on other planets? Humans for example, need to breathe in oxygen and can survive in temperatures that aren’t extreme hot or cold.

source 3 what is it like in other planetary systems

So far, the planets outside our solar system have proven to be fascinating and diverse. One planet, known as HD 40307g, is a “super Earth,” with a mass about eight times that of Earth. The force of gravity  there would be much stronger than here at home. You would weigh twice as much there as you do on Earth!

Another planet, called Kepler-16b, turns out to orbit two stars. A sunset there would provide a view of two setting stars!

In another planetary system, called TRAPPIST-1, there are not one…not two…but seven Earth-sized planets that could be covered in liquid water. The planets are relatively close together, too. If you were to stand on the surface of a TRAPPIST-1 planet, you might see six other planets on the horizon!

in other planetary systems its got to be the same like every other one because there’s probably around like 8 or 9 planets that spin around a sun so they got to be around the same like ours.

There is another Sun-like star out there with an intriguing family of planets orbiting about and it could be the closest parallel to our own solar system that astronomers have found yet. European astronomers discovered a planetary system containing at least five planets, orbiting the star HD 10180, with evidence that two other planets may be present. If confirmed, one of those would have the lowest mass ever found.

“We have found what is most likely the system with the most planets yet discovered,” says Christophe Lovis, who led the team. “This remarkable discovery also highlights the fact that we are now entering a new era in exoplanet research: the study of complex planetary systems and not just of individual planets. Studies of planetary motions in the new system reveal complex gravitational interactions between the planets and give us insights into the long-term evolution of the system.”

To make this system even more intriguing, the team also found evidence that the distances of the planets from their star follow a regular pattern, as also seen in our Solar System. “This could be a signature of the formation process of these planetary systems,” said team member Michel Mayor.

They have found other solar sytems but yet they haven’t been able to find out the name of these planets that are there like they said they were able to find another earth.

Source 5 how will astronomer keep finding distant solar systems  from NASA

NASA’s Kepler mission found more than 2,600 exoplanets during its nine year mission. It has also made a list of more than 3,000 additional potential exoplanets that astronomers need to study more carefully to be sure that they are indeed planets.

NASA’s Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) mission is continuing the hunt for exoplanets. While Kepler primarily searched within one particular patch of the sky, TESS is observing the entire sky to locate thousands of planets orbiting the nearest and brightest stars.

The James Webb Space Telescope, set to launch in 2021, will also observe many of the exoplanets we have discovered and help scientists reveal details about these distant worlds.

they have been studying so many other solar sytems so they could try to keep finding so many other ones so they can find cosmos and any other type of stuff up there.

Why do people like crime podcasts and documentaries?

it is because people want to know what it feels like to be a criminal when like they make these crimes or their stories of what it’s like to be in prison. A lot of people find it really entertaining why someone would choose to become a criminal and why they would like want to do go out and rob a bank or try to hurt someone because people are like we want to know what happens when they do that and why they do that and they want to know what happens after they do these crimes and people want to really dive into like do they go to prison right away or do they say how long their going to be in prison right away after they get arrested. People get so interacted with these stories on like a serial killer and people like him because they wanna know more and like his back story  on like how they grew up and how they were like during school years from when they were a child and wonder why they are like this and why they wanted to do something like this is it cause they were beat as a child and now they need to take their anger out on tons of people or is it cause they need revenge so they start a mass killing that’s why people like listening to crime stories and listening to podcasts and watching documentaries because they like to know a lot more of what happens and if they go missing and try to find them they will start making podcasts and documentaries of where they could be or what evidence they have on where they think he could be and that’s what catches peoples eye cause they like to know that stuff. I think what also catches peoples eye on crime stories is how they are doing these crimes and what is going on around them when they are doing it like they shooting in las Vegas that happened in 2017 there are so many stories on how he did it and what he was doing and what as the key to kill so many people that night from what I know is that it was from the Mandalay bay hotel in las Vegas and he had so many weapons that he used that’s what people like to see in podcasts what kind of weapons they were using and how did he do it without getting caught.
