Conclusion
Gum A, Hubba Bubba, was able to make bigger bubbles than Gum B, Big League Chew. However, Gum A was not able to stretch as much as Gum B. In our lab, Gum A stretched 53cm while Gum B stretched 133cm. We do not have a solid reason of why this is but it is probably because Gum A was at a lower temperature than Gum B, because it was not chewed for as long. Hubba Bubba was made of a more dense material, making it easier to make better bubbles with. Big League Chew was more gritty and wasn’t as soft as Hubba Bubba. Bubbles made from Gum B were thinner and popped easier.
