Wonder Questions

Does the universe have an End?

The universe is a great topic to talk about. It contains planets, galaxies and stars but we do not know for sure if the universe has an end or not. In my opinion, no, the universe does not have an end and will continue forever.

Mentioning about the space, we have to talk about the most well-known theory. According to the most popular theory that is created by scientists including Albert Einstein’s work, Big Bang creates time and space. The theory states that the explosion happened about 13.8 billion years ago which starts the time and expands the space. Moreover, this hypothesis points out that at the moment of Big Bang, “all matter was compacted into a very small ball with infinite density and intense heat called a Singularity”. This Singularity began its expansion and is known as the universe we know today. This theory suggests that universe does not has an end since the ball dimension is infinite density and keep expanding from Big Bang.

The universe has not come to exist on its own but according to Big Bang theory, time and space have only existed after Big Bang happened. This raised an unanswerable question by two scientists “What came before the Big Bang?”. Opposite of the idea above, these scientists, Paul Steinhardt and Neil Turok created a different theory that the universe has generated and regenerated itself in a cycle nonstop.  That means the universe always regenerates itself and does not have an end according to this theory.

From the theories above, I have come to a conclusion that the universe will exist forever and in the future scientists will discover more evidences to prove hypothesis about the permanence of cosmos.
