Marshmallow Challenge Reflection

Was there a leader on your team? Who was it and who decided who the leader would be?

Somewhat, I effectively ended up in the role, being the first one to start building and was issuing requests.

If you had no leader, do you think having designated someone a leader would have helped?

N/A

If you had a leader, how did he/she do?

I was doing a fair bit of dictating in order to keep the tower standing, trying to at least have one that stood

How helpful was everyone on your team in challenging the process of building the tallest structure? Did anyone appear to be an expert?

They weren’t unhelpful and pitched multiple good ideas that were integrated into the design, including adding a beam down the middle, and taping down the support pillars

Did any team members tune out of the activity — out of frustration with other members or for some other reason? What could you have done to keep all members of the group fully engaged?

The team was cohesive enough to build a structure that didn’t fall immediately, we all tuned out when we finished halfway through

Did you feel everyone’s ideas were well received during the activity?

Somewhat, I was turning down ideas that included building the tower beyond the necessary point

How did you feel as the time limit was approaching? Did pressure increase? If yes, was that helpful or not?

The Pressure never increased as we were finished well before the time limit

In retrospect, what could you have done better?

Using the string as support beams would’ve allowed for more height while maintaining a level of stability

Did you celebrate small wins? If yes, how did you do this?

Not really, though i was amused when our structure was the only one left standing
