1. How are chromosomes, DNA, and genes related to one another (you will need to research this)
DNA is the code for your body and chromosomes are the DNA strands and basically everything is the same in a sense.
2. Explain what these pieces represent:
a. licorice acts as the backbones and is there to keep the marshmallows (chemical bases) together
b. Marshmallows (each colour) the chemical bases which is changing by colour to change which kind of base it is.
3. How did this activity help you understand the structure of DNA.
it shows how the DNA is formed and shaped and how the DNA cell is structured and how to identify the different cells and eveything in the DNA cell and helps further the understanding of the DNA cell.
