Grammar Video Project -Subjects and Predicates

Subject is the object or person that is described in a sentence. Predicate is the action or doing of the subject in a sentence. For example when a subject is travelling somewhere these are often used. Simple Subjects are less descriptive words used to describe the subject. Complete Subjects are when the subject has more detail about it. Simple Predicates are less descriptive words used to describe actions. Examples: run, walk, fly. Complete Predicates are when you use more descriptive words to replace the boring/simple action words. Examples: Sprint, marched, glided. We enjoyed doing this project because we learned actually learned a bit more ourselves about subjects and predicates. We hope we learn many more different grammar rules from everyone else’s videos.
