Technology Paragraph

Technology is an option most people lean on to improve their way of life by making it easier to do everyday actions. Humanity’s misuse of the power they have been given is grossly enlarging as modern technology continues to evolve. In the short story, The Great Automatic Grammatizator by Roald Dahl, Mr. Bohlen and Adolf Knipe set off to create a machine that would write short stories and eventually novels for them. This idea would have created different stories for others to enjoy which is a positive until Mr. Bohlen and Mr. Knipe start to take writers out of business for their own greedy desires, money and power: “… The money started pouring in. Knipe slowly and carefully stepped up the output, and in six months’ time he was delivering thirty stories a week, and selling about half… After several months of work, he had persuaded something like seventy percent of the writers on his list to sign the contract.” Our society would rather make more money than see others succeeding in what they do. Although, there are people who do not take advantage of technology. It’s mostly our generation that continues to blur the line between right and wrong. Technology is a tool that could more than useful, and it is, but we use it incorrectly, disrespectfully and irresponsibly.
