If the food in your sauce pan catches on fire, place a lid on it to eliminate the oxygen and turn off the heat to remove the heat source

If you experience a grease fire, smother it in baking soda rather than water to prevent the fire from spreading

Hold the burned skin under cool water to cool the burn

You can apply an anethetic with aloe vera gel or cream to soothe burned skin

 

Never mix cleaning products to avoid creating dangerous products

Keep chemicals away from children in a locked cabinet

Always keep your laces tied to prevent tripping and falling

Keep walking pathways clear to provide a safe place to walk

Always point your knife away from you in case it slips out of your control

Never leave a knife in soapy water so you don’t accidentally reach in and grab the blade

When lifting heavy objects always lift with your legs, not your back


Use both hands to lift heavy objects to avoid dropping them

Wash hands after touching raw meat to avoid spreading the bacteria

Don’t leave raw meat at room temperature for a long time to prevent it from entering the danger zone 

 

Make sure to always compost items that are able to be composted including paper towels

Make sure to clear garbage/compost bins regularly to avoid unwanted pests

Wash hands before cooking to prevent bacteria spread

Tie hair up before entering the kitchen area to prevent hair from falling into food
