This stop motion video based off of the induction scene of “Taming of the Shrew”, made by Alan and I. It was written by William Shakespeare The induction scene of this play is about a commoner who gets found drunk in a bar by a lord. That lord takes the commoner to his manor to play a prank on him by making the commoner believe that he is the lord of this manor. We tried to recreate this with our stop motion video by making various scene changes and using simple dialectic. Using the stop motion technology was easier in the way that we didn’t need to use real people and bring in a bunch of costume changes. Using the stop motion also used a lot less space and props that using a stage would. It was easy and inexpensive to get all the props need by making them by hand for this project. One thing that was difficult was putting in a voice over. It was troublesome trying to put it in over the video During this project I learned how to work stop motion for the first time. This will be a great help for other class projects in any subject.
