Copper chloride is commonly called cuprous chloride.  It is the lower chloride of copper, with the formula CuCI and the formula CI2Cu. This chemical is a light brown solid, which slowly absorbs moisture to form a blue-green dihydrate. Copper chloride is made by simplifying  cupric chloride and used chiefly as a catalyst and as an absorbent of carbon monoxide.  Copper chloride costs ranges from US $3300-3600, and I found another internet source that told me it costs US 11.95.  Here is a attached video of what copper chloride will do to aluminium foil.
