This week in math 10 we finished up our functions unit.
Some basic terms and relations that are important for any equation of word problem you do is.
domain is the x value and it is also known as the independent value.
range is the y value and it is also known as the dependant value.
examples:
(1,3) (2,6) (3,8) (2,5) (3,7)
The domain is 1,2,3
the range is 3,6,8,5,7
When you do this and there are repeats you do not have to list it again.
