Eggs at Home!

Part 1:

1.Breakfast French toast – For my breakfast recipe I chose French toast, which is bread dipped into an egg mixture and fried on a pan until golden brown. You add your ingredients into the egg mixture and whisk together then pour it into a plate or dish and dip your bread.

2.Lunch – Avocado egg in a hole

For my lunch recipe I chose Avocado egg-in-a-hole. It is a bagel cut in half with a bigger cut out in the middle with an egg cooked inside of it and with optional cheese, avocado and ham in-between the bagel.

3.Dinner- Zucchini Pasta

For my dinner recipe I chose Zucchini Pasta. For this recipe you boil the zucchini pasta, drain it and add tomatoes with pesto sauce. After creating your pasta, you top it off with two fried eggs. This is a quick and easy recipe to make in minutes. https://www.eggs.ca/recipes/zucchini-pasta

Part 2: I chose to cook the breakfast meal, French Toast. For this meal I set up my mise-en-place and began to combine the ingredients. In a small bowl I added cinnamon, sugar and nutmeg. Then I began to combine the rest of my ingredients to the cinnamon mixture. I added eggs, milk and vanilla and whisked it together then poured it into a shallow dish. To cook them I dipped the bread into the egg mixture and added butter to the pan and cooked the one side until golden brown, then flipped it over. For the final product I added some powdered sugar, fruit and syrup.

Part 3:

Here are photos of my progress in creating my final product, and a photo of the end result. There are also included photos of my clean kitchen afterwords.
