The volunteer opportunity I chose was a Speed Watcher
I am researching about volunteering job for the RCMP speed watcher. This could benefit me because saying I volunteered for the police can be a good thing to put on a college application or a job resume. I don’t like driving in the same car my grandma is driving in, and she doesn’t go over the speed limit. So, I can’t even imagine being a kid with someone who’s driving too fast. That’s why I’m passionate about helping the police by making people drive safe speeds.
My job opportunity I chose was to be a House Sitter
I’m researching about getting a job as a house sitter. I could be useful when I eventually leave to get a place of my own and need to take care of me and my responsibilities. I would need to have experience with housework (optional, but recommended) and have a love for dogs. I already have a love for dogs, even though I have never owned one myself, I have friends/family that have dogs and I know most about what it’s like to have a dog. I am also able to do things like collect mail and taking out trash and recycling as I already do these things. Not many things I need to do to apply, I just need to give them a call and hope I got there first. There isn’t even an age limit.
