(My host’s work is at their computer, so they just took a screenshot)

Student Reflections:
1. Give three reasons why you would like this job (be specific):
a) Working at home (I could do house work)
b) The flexibility (I could take breaks)
c) The job security (It won’t be replaced by robots)
2. Give three reasons why you would not like this job (be specific):
a) Listening to peoples medical problems
b) I’d get distracted working from home
c) Working alone (I like talking to other people)
3. Is this job for you? Why or why not?                                                                                                                                                                                    This job isn’t for me because I know I would definitely get distracted, and listening to people’s medical issues would be very unsettling. Even though working at home would be nice, not talking to anyone for most of the day is going to drive me crazy.
4. Explain the value of the TOKTW experience in relation to your ideas about your post secondary (after high
school) plans (education?, training?, travel?, work?).                                                                                                                                                            TOKTW is a good way for kids to know what they’ll need to know to get the career they want, because us children don’t have much knowledge of what it’s like. And knowing the steps that out host took to get to the job will be similar if not the same to what we’ll be doing.
