Week 11- Graphing Inequalities

This week, I have learned how to graph inequalities. It is very similar to graph linear graph; however, the difference is that you color.

 

Let’s see this example. It has the same line as linear graphing, however, we can see that there is a shaded area. It is shaded because it proves the equation that all of the shaded part is correct.

The equation is : y<2x-8

We can use 0,0 to see if this equation makes sense.

If it doesn’t we don’t shade in that side.

If it does work, we shade it in.

Since 0<-8 doesn’t make sense, we didn’t shade it in.

 

As a result, it is very simple to do inequality graphing. Its very simple and similar but difference between the shading.
