One day, during science class we were learning about Acids. For this experiment we needed a lot of test tubes, a beaker, a ring stand, a ring clamp. We put a few things in the beaker, we needed the test tubes for the acid, we would put the ring clam into the ring stand. However before we could start anything we needed to put on a lab coat and a safety goggles because we didn`t want to get acid on our body’s or our eyes, but if we didn`t have a lab coat or a pair a safety goggles we might need to use the emergency showers. You can never know what might happen.

The experiment was good except for the big accident. I was working on my experiment when suddenly, Joe drank some of the acid out of one of tubes. Joe brought his water bottle to class and I guess he grabbed the wrong the thing. The container for the hydrochloric acid had 2 symbols, a harmful symbol meaning that it could be harmful if it touches a living organism, and a biohazard symbol meaning that it is biohazardous.

Afterwards, he whispered to his friend, but I could hear it too sense I was behind me. Joe said, “don`t tell the teacher”. I had a dilemma on rather I should tell the Mr. Lob or not, but instead I said to joe, “maybe you should tell Mr. Lob before you explode or something”. Joe did the right thing and told Mr. Lob “I think I drank some of the acid”. Mr. Lob called 911 and he got to the hospital right away.
