Periodic Table Assignment

  1. Define And Discover.

We are assigned to remake the periodic table in a way to solve a problem it doesn’t already. We can use various ideas to recreate it. This is a great use for our minds and is a very fun project!

How can we make it easier to use?

How do we make it easier to understand?

Can we make it memorizable?

Does it have to be In order?

2. Dream

The periodic table is a very useful tool for inspecting the elements we have on earth whether they are liquids, gases, and metals. The whole table is in order from the atomic number. And the table is also ordered in families such as Alkali metals, noble gases. Alkali Earth metals and others. We decided on making a table most reactive to least reactive. the table will have families color-coded instead of being together.

3. Plan

We are planning on rearranging the table to be a most to the least reactive tool. this won’t be that useful to people studying the table but when it involves them doing experiments it would be nice to know what is the most reactive and what to stay away from. The table itself will be on paper and the table will be squares lined up next to each other.

4. Deliver

Our creation is the Reactivity Chart. it is used to test reactivity and see what is most reactive. This is most useful with teachers or students doing experiments to be safe. this isn’t the best tool for school and should only be used for dual-use with the regular table.

5. Debrief

Our tool the Reactivity Chart is not the best creation. It has one sole purpose and that is to measure reactivity it doesn’t help in a school but if you are doing experiments this will be tremendously useful. We could have made it look a lot better and maybe fine line because it doesn’t look that professional if we made a digital copy it would have looked way better.

this is the Reactivity Chart
