Rube Goldberg Machine Dino Hiest

group members: Logan and Mark

My groups Rube Goldberg Machine is called Jurassic World Dino heist. It happens in between Jurassic World and Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom. my groups project starts with the thief’s on the buildings roof after jumping out of a plane. The far box on the right is the Jurassic World visitor centre. The top of are Rube Goldberg Machine is the Jurassic worlds science laboratory. The thief’s plan is to set a bomb off in the visitor centre creating a chain reaction all the way up on the side of the science centre knocking down the box with the Eggs. The box goes down the side of the building until it enters a pipe which starts a wrecking ball breaking a watch out tower behind the car helping to create a distraction. The car travels down the hill smashing through a gate and goes off a ramp into the escape boat.

1 When the marble is dropped down the pipe and then rolls out the half pipe examples of mechanical and gravitational energy.
2 The marble rolls down the half pipe and hits dominos over which knocks a ball off the side that has a bell attached to it. examples of mechanical, gravitational, as well as sound energy(from Bell).
3 The ball is taped to a lid so when the ball fell the lid it went up the pulley system knocking a ping pong ball down the slope. examples of gravitational, and mechanical energy.
4 The ping pong ball travels down the slope and then bounces of some tape into a pipe. examples of mechanical, gravitational, and elastic energy.
5 The ping pong ball hits a golf ball that then falls on another lacrosse ball(wrecking ball) knocking it over. There is mechanical, and gravitational energy.
6 The ball that just fell swings down knocking over a tower of jenga blocks bumping the car and hitting it down the ramp. examples of sound, mechanical, and gravitational energy.
7 As the car continues down it his more jenga blocks(gate way). examples of sound, mechanical, and gravitational energy.
8 the car keeps going and jumps from one chair to the other chair with a box taped on it. examples of mechanical, and gravitational energy.
