In-class Write and Story Process Core Competency self-assessment

I am an active listener and can respond to simple, direct questions. 

As I was actively listening and participating in our “Richard Gere Impara Ballare il Tango” story that my teacher, Signora Durand was telling. I always would interact with all the questions she would ask me at any point and time. I also would make sure that when she expected us to respond to her questions as a group I would always do that as I know that the more I participate in practicing speaking the Italian language, the more the structures of this language will be deep in my brain. 

 

 

I can present information clearly and in an organized way.  

I was surely able to represent my information clearly and in an orderly fashion during Signora Durand’s class. I have shown this during several activities and assignments based on the timeline we have had so far. Some of which are, when I was writing my in class writes. During these I have been extremely cautious while writing these because if I were to not write certain structures of my story in the right order It would severely impact my grade. Another way that I can assure that Ive been organized was when I was presenting a skit with a group of my peers. For this assignment I had to make sure that I was organized by studying my lines and writing out what we wilall say during the presentation in reason of my teacher being able to understand what we are saying 

 

 

I can recount simple experiences and activities and tell something I learned. 

I am capable of explaining everything I learned without a doubt. A few things that I have learned were how to read, write and speak Italian almost fluently during this short period of time in which we were given. I have also been taught how to socially interact with several of my peers without it bothering me. I am usually an introvert; however, signora Durand has taught me how to interact in skits and presentations with my peers in order to get the necessary work done in class.
