Desmos Art Functions Card 2020

For this project, I used a lot of creativity and imagined what equations I think could be used to replicate the original picture; such as using trigonometric equations for my braids since they create straight squiggly lines. My challenges were shading all the functions in, and as you can see in the demos activity, that some functions weren’t coloured in the lines. My aha moments was when I would try so many random equations for colouring my graph in, and then it would suddenly work. This project helped better my understanding of how I can write equations in order to make the graph move the way I want it to.
