Blog log one- Athletes Could be paid under new Califor

Sports players in California suggests for a new law to be created so that players in college can earn money off ticket sales, tv broadcasts etc. ”On Sept. 30, Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a bill that would allow college athletes in California to strike their own endorsement deals and hire agents — a measure that is scheduled to take effect in 2023”. I chose this article because I never realized that for all the effort and training the college students put into their sport and they aren’t getting paid. I want to get a scholarship to a University in the future  and I relate to this article because I play soccer and lacrosse. If I’m going to be broadcasted on television and selling lots of tickets to fans, I would also want to be receiving some of the earnings rather than it all going towards an organization. This article was very straight forward and easy to comprehend which I liked, and since I relate to it I also feel inspired.
