This relates to the PowerPoint because in the PowerPoint there was a photo of a scale difference Ina composite volcano and a Shield volcano. Composite volcanoes are tall and skinny whereas Shield volcanoes are extremely wide.  Composite have explosive eruptions while lava pours out of Shield volcanoes.
